Bandai Namco is splitting Ace Combat Zero from the Ace Combat 8 launcher. This lets owners play the 3.2GB title without installing the 136GB main game.
Bandai Namco announced Tuesday that Ace Combat Zero will become a standalone application on Steam. Previously, players had to install all 136GB of Ace Combat 8 to access the 3.2GB pre-order bonus. The split adds Steam Cloud save support. Zero is not available for separate purchase and remains limited to those who pre-ordered Ace Combat 8. The app is currently in quality assurance and compatibility testing. Full details are available at PC Gamer.
