Summer Eternal is developing a 3D, physics-driven RPG called Red Rooster set in the city of Arta-Tantor.
Former ZA/UM staff, including writer Argo Tuulik and narrative designer Dora Klindžionić, have formed a worker co-operative studio called Summer Eternal. They are building Red Rooster in Unreal Engine. It is a third-person RPG where players control Redrick Roost, a convict and arson investigator. The game features a physics-powered sandbox where objects can be moved or burned.
The project is in pre-production and could be take 3 to 4 years to reach release. Summer Eternal is targeting a double-A production budget similar to Sandfall Interactive. The studio recently released a 500-page anthology containing the game's pitch and studio manifesto.
