The Xbox Nano is a $49.99 portable gamepad featuring a rechargeable battery. It launches November 4.
Microsoft announced the Xbox Nano, a pocket sized gamepad priced at $49.99. It measures just over five inches long and weighs 3.5 ounces. The controller includes 18 standard gameplay inputs and a programmable Action Button for shortcuts and captures. It connects via Bluetooth and Xbox Wireless to PCs, consoles, mobile devices, and some smart TVs.
The Nano uses a built-in rechargeable battery. Microsoft has not shared details on battery life, available colors, or if the device includes rumble and impulse triggers. While the Nano is $49.99, Wccftech notes that the standard Xbox Wireless Controller is currently 25 percent off on the Xbox Store, making the full size pad temporarily cheaper than the Nano.
Holiday bundles in the US will pair the controller and two months of Game Pass Ultimate for new members with select Samsung TVs and Meta Quest headsets. This pushes cloud gaming, but Microsoft is introducing monthly time limits for Xbox Cloud Gaming in November. Ultimate subscribers will be capped at 15 hours, Premium at 10, and Essential at 5.
Pre orders are open now. The controller launches November 4 in 36 markets, including the US, UK, and Japan.
