Modern Warfare 4 PS5 version lacks platinum trophy

Modern Warfare 4 will not launch with a platinum trophy on PS5. According to PlayStation Game Size, the game is technically DLC within the Call of Duty HQ launcher rather than a standalone app. This prevents the game from having a full trophy list. Some previous Call of Duty titles received trophies later after they were removed from the launcher and released as separate downloads. Trophy collectors can read more details at Push Square.
