New Blood avoids sequels to fund new projects

New Blood is avoiding the AAA strategy of creating endless sequels. Boss Dave Oshry says he prefers to put profits from hits like Ultrakill into new projects including Gloomwood, Fallen Aces, and Tenebris Somnia. Oshry claims that forcing a creator to make Dusk 2 would have prevented the creation of Iron Lung, which later became a movie that made $50 million. A spin-off called Dungeons of Dusk is in development by a different developer. Read more at PC Gamer.
