Sony announces October PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium games

Most of the new titles arrive on October 20. The headliner is Mycopunk, a co-op looter shooter featuring 4-player play. The game has been in Steam early access for over a year and launches its 1.0 version on consoles the same day it hits the subscription service.

The lineup also includes Mafia: The Old Country, a prequel set in 1900s Sicily, and a re-release of Horizon Forbidden West. Horror titles for the season include The Midnight Walk, which launched October 14 in the US and UK, and Poppy Playtime: Chapter 2, arriving October 27. Other additions include Tales of Arise Beyond the Dawn Edition, also arriving October 27, and Monster Energy Supercross 25.

PS Plus Premium subscribers get Dino Crisis 2 and RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Complete Edition. Additionally, all members can claim F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896, and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 as free monthly games until November 2.
