Sony reportedly issued a cease and desist to shut down a storefront offering over 1,600 free games.
Sony reportedly sent a cease and desist letter to the developers of Overdrive. The project was a homebrew storefront for jailbroken PS5 consoles that offered more than 1,600 PS4 and PS5 games as free downloads. The app went viral on October 12 after a demonstration video reached 7.9 million views on X. The original site closed shortly after, but two GitHub repositories appeared one day later to replace it. This follows the September 29 release of the Relapse jailbreak. Read more at Tom's Hardware.
