TL;DR

TCL CSOT plans to produce OLED monitor panels with refresh rates up to 700 Hz starting in 2028.

A report from Omdia says TCL CSOT plans to produce 32-inch and 34-inch OLED panels with refresh rates up to 700 Hz. Production should begin in 2028 at a Gen 8.6 inkjet-printed line in Guangzhou. This printing process is said to reduce material waste and cut costs by 30 to 35 percent compared to conventional fine metal mask OLEDs. It is not clear if 700 Hz is a native rate or a dual-mode setting at a lower resolution. LG Display already produces a 720 Hz 24.5-inch panel. For more details, see TechPowerUp and Club386.
