RuneScape: Dragonwilds update 1.001.001 fixes save file and server issues

Updated More on NintendoNintendo Switch 2

TL;DR

Jagex released a hotfix for RuneScape: Dragonwilds that addresses corrupted save files and server crashes. Switch 2 players will not receive the update today but can still crossplay with others.

Jagex released RuneScape: Dragonwilds update 1.001.001 on October 17. The hotfix resolves a problem where the "Corrupted Save File Detected" popup was unfocused, which prevented controller users from bypassing it. It also fixes a crash on dedicated servers that occurred when Ranged Special Attacks hit specific enemies.

The update is not hitting Switch 2 consoles today, but Jagex says Switch 2 players can still crossplay with users who have already updated.

Jagex is aware of issues where the Air Staff 4th Combo hit does not apply on-hit damage and where splitting stacks within chests causes a freeze. The developer is targeting a fix for these issues next week, pending testing and processing by console partner platforms.
