CDPR says Cyberpunk 2077 film will not translate game story one-to-one

CD Projekt Red is working with Paramount Pictures on a live-action film adaptation based on Cyberpunk 2077. Lorenzo di Bonaventura is serving as producer for the project. CDPR co-CEO Michał Nowakowski says the film will not be a one-to-one translation of the game's story. Nowakowski says the goal is to tell a story within the world of Cyberpunk rather than making a direct adaptation of the game.
