TL;DR

G.SKILL released the Trident Z5 NeoX RGB DDR5 series, which features AMD EXPO ULL certification for lower latency.

G.SKILL has introduced the Trident Z5 NeoX RGB DDR5 memory line. This new series is AMD EXPO ULL (Ultra Low Latency) compatible and carries official certification from AMD. To use the ULL features, which use a profile to optimize subtimings for better performance and lower latency compared to standard AMD EXPO kits, users require an up-to-date BIOS.

The reviewed 32 GB kit contains two 16 GB modules running at 6,000 MT/s with 36-36-36-76 timings and 1.35V. It uses Samsung chips, aluminum heat spreaders, and includes RGB backlighting compatible with ASUS Aura, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, MSI Mystic Light, and ASRock Polychrome Sync. The modules stand 42 mm tall and weigh 74 grams. While the Trident Z5 NeoX RGB features lighting, G.SKILL offers the Flare X5X series for AMD EXPO ULL compatibility without RGB. The kit is currently available in France for approximately 600€.
