ORICO is entering the laptop market with its first design, the Obook 15 AI Laptop. The device is available in the United States and the Philippines. ORICO says the laptop uses an AMD Ryzen 7 6800H SoC with 8 cores and 16 threads that boost up to 4.7 GHz. It features integrated Radeon 680M graphics and runs Windows 11.
Memory options include 12 GB or 24 GB at 6,400 MT/s. Storage includes a primary NVMe SSD up to 1 TB and a second M.2 slot that supports up to 4 TB. The laptop has a 15.6-inch 1,920 x 1,080 IPS anti-glare display with 170-degree viewing angles. It includes a 54.29 Wh battery, a 100 W charger, and Wi-Fi 6.
The 12 GB/256 GB model is $689.99, the 12 GB/512 GB model is $749.99, and the 24 GB/1 TB model is $899.99. ORICO says the laptop includes XiaoAo AI Super Agent, which provides 11 specialized AI assistants to help automate workflows and manage knowledge bases. ORICO says the choice of an older AMD SoC allows the laptop to be price competitive.
