Pulsar Gaming Gears and VAXEE Corporation released the eS Xlite gaming mouse today. The device costs $179.95 and is in standard running production rather than being a limited edition.
The mouse weighs 51 g and uses an XS2 sensor capable of up to 42,000 DPI, 800 IPS, and 70G acceleration. It supports an 8000 Hz polling rate in both wired and wireless modes. To power these features, Pulsar Gaming Gears included a 500mAh battery, which is 2.5 times the capacity of the 200mAh battery in the previous model. Pulsar Gaming Gears says this allows for up to 119 hours of continuous use at a 1KHz polling rate.
The hardware includes Pulsar Optical Switches and a Link 8K Dongle. This dongle acts as an active controller with physical buttons to adjust DPI, polling rates, and profiles. The mouse design features a narrower width, a raised rear, and a rearward-shifted center of gravity. Pulsar Gaming Gears also moved the sensor position forward to align with the index and middle fingers.
