Battlefield 6 starts Dead Space: Convergence event on October 20

Battlefield 6 launched a limited-time Halloween event called Dead Space: Convergence on October 20. The event includes a 16-player PvE experience named Marker Incursion. In this mode, squads move through corrupted territory to destroy Marker Shrines and attempt to stop an event called Convergence. Steam says the difficulty of the fight increases as players move deeper into corrupted areas.

Players can find the DS-23 Pulse Rifle as a Battle Pick-Up during Marker Incursion. Completing event challenges unlocks several Dead Space-inspired rewards, including the Aegis VII Soldier Skin, the RIG-Certified SMG Weapon Skin, Dead Space weapon stickers, soldier patches, and player card backgrounds. Dead Space-themed store bundles are also available.
