Expression Games released update 1.7 for Hell Let Loose: Vietnam on October 21, bringing new hardware features and gameplay tweaks ahead of the upcoming version 2.0 patch.

PC players using supported AMD GPUs from the 5000 series and above can now enable AMD FSR Frame Generation through the video settings. The developers recommend using the setting when your base frame rate sits around 60 frames per second or higher to prevent increased input latency.

The update also expands the US Forces arsenal with the M1A1 Thompson submachine gun. The M16A1 rifle now supports an optional 30-round magazine, though the heavier ammunition adds loadout weight penalties. Tank crews can now swap ammunition types by directly cycling to a new shell without needing to fire the currently chambered round first.

Vehicle mechanics received several adjustments. Manual driver exits now automatically shut off boat engines, turning them into immediate spawn points unless the driver is killed while still in the seat.
