Ordinary Oddness announced for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC

COSMICPUP STUDIO, a subsidiary of Tencent Games, announced the open-world action RPG Ordinary Oddness. The game is planned for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and WeGame. COSMICPUP STUDIO has not announced a release date, but pre-registration is now open.

The announcement included a 22-minute reveal trailer and the release of a theme song titled “Little Monster.” Developed using Unreal Engine 5, the game is set in a floating city called Elysian Skies. Players control a Consulting Investigator for the Mythoids Investigation Agency, taking on cases involving humans and supernatural beings known as Mythoids. The combat features real-time mechanics focused on dodging, blocking, and character switching, while boss encounters include multiple phases. Environments in the game shift between normal city locations and supernatural spaces.
