Fountains · official art via IGDBFountains has released the Gauntlet Mode update for Xbox. Players can access this mode after defeating the final boss and speaking with the gauntlet keeper NPC. The mode presents 10 boss fights in a row. Players who own the Shattered Shape expansion can choose a variant of the mode that includes those expansion bosses.
The mode includes rest areas after the 3rd, 6th, and 9th fights. At these locations, players can swap gear and recharge healing flasks. Players can bring their existing equipment and consumables into the runs. All consumables used during a run are returned to the player once the run ends.
