Steins;Gate Re:Boot developers confirm new Science Adventure series in development

Tatsuya Matsubara and Naotaka Hayashi said they are currently working on a new Science Adventure title alongside original creator Chiyomaru Shikura. During interviews, Matsubara and Hayashi expressed interest in a remake of Chaos;Head, the first game in the franchise, noting that modern technology could allow the team to tell the story in ways previously impossible. Hayashi mentioned a desire to see the title updated with modern visuals, though he noted he would not necessarily alter the narrative or include additional material.

The developers also discussed Steins;Gate Re:Boot, noting they dismissed a humorous harem conclusion featuring Okabe and several heroines as it clashed with the narrative tone. Regarding other adaptations, Hayashi stated that there are currently no intentions to turn the anime's 25th episode or the associated film into video games.
