Bethesda Softworks has launched Season Two: Echoes of Skyrim for The Elder Scrolls Online. The season runs until January 27, 2027.

The Greymoor Chapter is now free for all players. This includes the Western Skyrim zone and locations such as Solitude, Blackreach, Morthal, and Dragon Bridge. The Markarth DLC and a Skyrim-themed Golden Pursuit campaign will also be free for all players on November 9.

The season introduces solo dungeons, allowing players to tackle content without a group. At launch, Moon Hunter Keep and March of Sacrifices are available to play solo. These two dungeons were previously only available to ESO Plus members or Wolfhunter DLC owners, but both were made free for all players earlier this month.

Current live events include the Witches Festival. Other scheduled events are the Whitestrakes Mayhem PvP event in November and the New Life Festival in December.

Planned updates for January 2027 include a Nowhere Vault-themed Golden Pursuits campaign, expanded companion customization for items like hair and helmets, the game's first Minimap UI, and increased furnishing limits for large player homes.
