TL;DR

New Decky Loader plugins from kromossomom-debug allow Steam Deck users to replace the standard Steam UI with layouts styled after the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, or Switch 2.

New Decky Loader plugins allow Steam Deck users to replace the standard SteamOS interface with layouts modeled after the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch 2. These free, open-source projects are available on GitHub from user kromossomom-debug.

The Xbox Dashboard uses a tile layout and allows users to switch between Home, Games, Apps, Store, Community, and System using the shoulder buttons. Pressing the Y button opens a game detail view featuring achievements, Steam Deck compatibility info, and HowLongToBeat data. The PS5 Dashboard features horizontal game arrangements, large background images, and a Media tab accessible via L1/R1. The Switch 2 Dashboard uses square game tiles and includes light and dark color schemes.

Installing these plugins requires Decky Loader. Users must download the ZIP files and use the Decky Loader developer mode to install them. Because these plugins modify the same parts of the interface, users should not run multiple dashboards at once.

These projects are in early development, with the Xbox Dashboard currently at version 0.0.9-alpha. Changes to SteamOS may affect how they function. These plugins only change the visual interface and do not enable Xbox, PlayStation, or Switch games to run on the hardware.
