Square Enix released a patch for Dragon Quest Heroes: Torneko’s Mystery Dungeon -Classic HD-. The update adjusts overall game tempo by speeding up battle messages and tweaking sound effect timing. Players on PC, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S will also notice changes to monster movement, item effects, traps, and Rockbomb chain explosions.

The patch addresses several technical issues as well. Square Enix included fixes for controller inputs, achievement tracking, save files, and the Play Record. Visibility for the HP gauge and the player vision range received adjustments, alongside corrections to the Directory and first-time streaming messages. The roguelike role-playing game originally launched on September 9, 2026, following the 1993 Japanese debut of the original title.
