According to director Naoki Hamaguchi, the upcoming title includes a challenging difficulty option available immediately. Users no longer need to finish the main campaign first, unlike past installments in the project. Furthermore, developers dropped previous limitations regarding item usage, and choosing this setting forces active combat.

An adjustable scaling system adapts enemy power relative to group progression. Gamers can adjust several parameters afterward inside the main menu options. These choices cover combat challenge, enemy scaling, combat pacing, minigame difficulty, and scenario level synchronization.

Hamaguchi noted that iconic boss creatures appear during the initial playthrough. Meanwhile, the FITS mechanic lets users configure party roles flexibly. The software releases on April 8, 2027, across multiple modern platforms.
