DragonSword: Awakening 1.1.0 update adds Ryza and balance changes

HOUND13 has released version 1.1.0 for DragonSword: Awakening. The update adds a new companion, Ryza, who uses lightning strikes and spears to inflict the Shock status effect.

A balance overhaul changes how damage and critical hits work. Critical hits now occur exactly at the player's Critical Rate, and HOUND13 says monster critical resistance has been removed entirely. While changes to how Defense Ignore applies to damage will cause displayed damage numbers to decrease, HOUND13 notes that monster HP was adjusted so that battle durations remain consistent. The update also increases the damage bonus by 20% when multiple characters mount a boss at the same time.

The Oath & Ballad Set DLC is also available. Individual DLC items cost $3.99 each, with regional costs adjusted for local economic strength. Players can buy a bundle of all three DLCs at a 20% discount or use a "Complete the Set" option if they already own some items.
