Demon's Souls remake is now playable on a PS5 emulator. A video from Geralt Benchmarks shows the game reaching 120FPS at 1440p when using an RTX 5070 and 2x DLSS Frame Gen. Without Frame Gen, the game runs at approximately 70FPS using standard PS5 settings. The original PS5 version of the game is locked to 60FPS.

Reports say Gran Turismo 7 is also running on a specialized fork of the open-source KytyPS5 emulator. In a 4K test using the Vulkan 1.3 API, a solo time trial reached between 20 FPS and 31 FPS on an RTX 4080 and Ryzen 7 9800X3D system. Performance drops to between 15 FPS and 21 FPS during full races against AI. These races also increased VRAM usage to nearly 13.7GB and system RAM usage to over 24GB.

The Gran Turismo 7 emulation is in early-access territory and lacks ray tracing support. Players must use the internal performance mode alongside experimental tessellation and SysV red zone crash protection. Reports say the build currently has visual issues, including green lighting tints in certain tunnels, geometric spikes on car roofs, line artefacts on windscreens, and corrupted textures on finish and retry screens.
