Archetype Entertainment has released a new trailer for Exodus showcasing changes made to the male character model of protagonist Jun Aslan. Chad Robertson, general manager of the studio, says the adjustments directly address player feedback gathered over the last few months regarding the original design.

The sci-fi action RPG lets players choose between a male or female version of Jun Aslan, with customisation options including hairstyles, hair colour, facial hair, and tattoos. While the studio has shown the revised male model in several scenes, Archetype Entertainment has not yet revealed what the female version will look like.

Narrative director Drew Karpyshyn outlines a relationship system where player choices dictate how companions react. Decisions can bring companions closer or push them away, potentially leading to some characters leaving the party permanently before the end of the game. Other revealed party members include Salt the Octopus, who operates a combat mech, and Emrys, who uses Remnant Orbs to weaken enemies and support Jun.

Exodus launches on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S on April 7, 2027.
