HoYoverse announced that Genshin Impact Version 7.2, titled Hour of Ruin, will launch on November 4, 2026. The update opens up eastern Snezhnaya for travel, featuring Wingspan Peak and the subterranean urban center known as Novokitezhgrad.
Two fresh Electro combatants are joining the roster. Mitya works as a five-star Catalyst hero who transforms Superconduct effects into Stellar-Conduct variants to raise team strength. Valeriy acts as a four-star Sword wielder providing protective barriers and elevating Electro strength for appropriate teams. During the initial Event Wishes phase, both heroes debut alongside a Furina rerun. The subsequent phase includes returning characters Zibai and Linnea, plus a special Chronicled Wish.
The latest storyline centers on a summit in Snezhnaya to tackle the Holy Soil crisis. Users finishing this specific quest within the allotted timeframe will receive 560 Primogems along with Mitya upgrade materials.
HoYoverse also provided broadcast codes granting 300 Primogems: HourofRuin, ExpertMitya, and PhotoTime. These redemption sequences expire sixty hours past October 23. The title plays on PC, mobile devices, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
