Honkai: Star Rail version 4.7 launches 11 November

HoYoverse announced that Honkai: Star Rail version 4.7, titled "Now, Lay Laughter to All Stars," launches on 11 November. The update introduces the limited 5-star character Aeon ★ Aha on the Path of Elation. In combat, Aha utilizes an "Aha Instant" mechanic to fast-forward Elation Skills. Players also accumulate Wishpower during battle to activate an Ultimate that deals Elation DMG to all enemies. Ally attacks can also reduce enemy Max HP when empowered by Aha.

The update adds a new growth system called Affinitive Eidolon. Once players own specific characters and unlock their corresponding Affinitive Eidolons, those characters gain additional combat abilities. Acheron, Dan Heng • Imbibitor Lunae, and Jing Yuan will be the first characters to receive these enhancements.

Character reruns are split between the two halves of the patch. Silver Wolf LV.999, Sparxie, and Yao Guang return in the first half, while Acheron, Dan Heng • Imbibitor Lunae, and Jing Yuan return in the second half.

An animated short titled "A Joyful Funeral Beneath the Moon" will release on launch day. HoYoverse also released three redeemable codes: "NEVERGONNAGIVE", "NEVERGONNAMAKE", and "AHABLESSYOU". These codes expire within 23 hours of the October 30 announcement.
