Steam Personal Calendar becomes permanent store feature

Updated More on Steam and Valve

TL;DR

Valve has moved the Personal Calendar from Steam Labs to a permanent part of the Steam Store. The feature uses player playtime history to recommend new and upcoming games.

Valve has made the Steam Personal Calendar a permanent feature of the Steam Store after its initial introduction through Steam Labs in October 2025. Based on a gamer's frequent titles, the system locates people with comparable playtime patterns and surfaces software they enjoy or bookmark, highlighting products dropped recently or arriving within two months.

Suggestions update every day, although the company notes that specific picks might stay similar until user behavior changes or launch schedules become official. The feature includes filters for DLC, Early Access titles, and wishlisted games. Developers can specify when Early Access games are expected to reach version 1.0 to allow them to appear on the calendar. Valve generates these recommendations algorithmically and does not sell slots for the feature. On average, players click on more than 2,000 different games through the calendar in a 24-hour period.
