The Pokémon Company and DeNA say the Dual Fusion expansion arrives for Pokémon TCG Pocket on October 29. This update introduces dual-type cards, such as the Psychic and Fighting-type Mega Mewtwo X ex and the Water and Dark-type Mega Greninja ex. New cards and illustrations for Pikachu, Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise are also included.
A new Special Pack: First Partners will be available from October 31 to December 26. These packs feature cards of the first partner Pokémon from nine different regions. Users open them with stamina that refreshes weekly, and every pack guarantees one star card.
To mark 30 years of the Pokémon TCG, event missions run from October 20, 2026, to October 20, 2027. Players who log in for 10 days can get a special Pikachu ex immersive card, Pika Pika Pikachu Packs, and new accessories. The company also plans upcoming in-app events including the Second Anniversary Celebration Campaign and Themed Promo Card Events.
