Sim Racing Expo 2026 in Frankfurt drew 29,580 visitors, according to reports. Attendance was more than double the 2024 figure and increased by over 5,000 compared to last year's event in Dortmund. The exhibition covered 14,000 square metres with over 70 exhibitors.

Visitors at the expo saw a demo of the free roam mode planned for Assetto Corsa Evo, which is scheduled to arrive via an early access update on December 9, 2026. RaceRoom also showcased an update that includes historical racing content, new circuits, and technical changes to multiplayer, virtual reality, and force feedback. Other demonstrations included Assetto Corsa Rally and Forza Horizon 6.

Hardware on display included motion platforms that move based on vehicle behaviour, haptic seating, and active pedals that can simulate anti-lock braking systems. While active pedals start around £750, direct drive steering wheel systems are now available for approximately £250. The Frankfurt exhibition expanded its floor space by 40 percent and drew about 20 percent more visitors compared to the prior European gathering.
