Phantom Blade Zero is out now on PC and PlayStation 5, featuring NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 technologies like path tracing and Dynamic Multi Frame Generation.

Phantom Blade Zero launched at 7pm PT on October 27 on Steam and the Epic Games Store. The game is also available on PlayStation 5. This mode enables ray-traced water caustics, but only when path tracing is active.

NVIDIA says the game includes DLSS 4.5, which features Ray Reconstruction and Dynamic Multi Frame Generation. Enabling path tracing on GeForce RTX GPUs automatically activates DLSS Ray Reconstruction. Dynamic Multi Frame Generation allows for up to 6X Frame Generation. NVIDIA reports that GeForce RTX 5090 owners can reach up to 9X frame rate acceleration using a fixed 6X multiplier. With path tracing and maxed settings, the game can run at up to 320 FPS on a GeForce RTX 5090 and up to 240 FPS on a GeForce RTX 5080.

On PlayStation 5 Pro, the game offers three visual modes. The Quality mode provides native 4K at 30 FPS. The Performance mode offers upscaled 2K at 60 FPS. A Balanced mode is available on PS5 Pro hardware, providing upscaled 4K at 40 FPS if played on a 120Hz TV with VRR.
