Virtua Fighter Crossroads trailer introduces Lionel Rafale for 2027

SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio released a new trailer for Virtua Fighter Crossroads, showcasing returning fighter Lionel Rafale. The two-minute video highlights his martial arts moveset, including knee strikes, kicks, grapples, and a wall throw, alongside a street fight against Cielo. Lead Producer Riichiro Yamada dedicated the trailer to late producer Parisi Giuseppe, who died from cancer.

RGG Studio characterizes Lionel as a youthful and enigmatic fighter entering the city of Vilasapara. Virtua Fighter Crossroads is scheduled for a 2027 release. The developer has not yet announced target platforms for the open sandbox RPG, which merges a story campaign following four main characters with traditional VS matches. Lionel's background and reasons for traveling to Vilasapara remain unconfirmed.
