Control Resonant arrives on GOG with DRM-free support

Remedy Entertainment says Control Resonant is now available on GOG for PC. The release includes both the standard version and the Deluxe Edition. Unlike the versions on Steam and the Epic Games Store, the GOG release is DRM-free and provides downloadable game files. Players using the GOG version can also use native cloud saves through GOG Galaxy.

The game arrived on GOG just over a month after its initial launch on Steam, where other PC versions use standard Steam DRM. Control Resonant is also available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. A version 1.4.0 update was recently released for the game.

The sequel to CONTROL follows Dylan Faden as they use paranormal powers to fight threats like the Hiss and the Mold in Manhattan. Players can use a melee weapon called the Aberrant that changes between forms like dual blades or a heavy hammer. A New Game Plus mode is available, allowing users to begin the campaign anew while retaining prior upgrades and progress.
