Pearl Abyss released an update for Crimson Desert that adds new combat options and gameplay features. Players can now use the Frying Pan and Kitchen Knife as weapons. The update also introduces barbershops in all major cities to allow for hairstyle changes.
New items and systems include three Legendary insects, a dedicated insect storage box, and house objects such as cat watchtowers, flowerbeds, and puppy cushions. On the map, trade routes now appear at all times, and players can zoom out further than before.
Pearl Abyss implemented several mechanical improvements, including better counter attack animations and shorter startup times for Damiane’s Shield Toss and Oongka’s Scatter Shot. Players can also use the Chat option to share Knowledge with NPCs to increase their trust.
