Epic Seven launches on Steam with a new server and controller support
TL;DR
Epic Seven is now available on Steam alongside a fresh server called Foundry and exclusive controller support.
Developer Super Creative and publisher Smilegate released their free-to-play turn-based strategy role-playing game Epic Seven on Steam, providing a new alternative to the STOVE client. The Steam rollout coincides with a new server named Foundry, which is accessible through Steam, the STOVE client, and mobile devices. Smilegate states that the Foundry server uses independent matchmaking for PvP content for new players for a limited time, backed by a settlement support event that started on October 29 to accelerate hero growth and grant daily free summons. Over 100,000 players participated in a Steam wishlist event held since August.

A special side story titled Secret Rabbit Hole runs from October 29 to December 10, rewarding players with three pieces of level 88 equipment and a special pet upon collecting specific characters and skins. Meanwhile, the Epic Seven World Championship knockout stage proceeds every weekend at 03:00 UTC from October 24 to November 14 using a double-elimination format. That stage determines the top four players advancing to the finals at the Lotte Cinema World Tower SUPER PLEX in Jamsil, Korea, on November 28.
