Publisher Rhine Games and developer Mosu are releasing the short indie action game The Dark Queen of Mortholme on December 3 for PS5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch. Created in cooperation with Monster Theater, the title takes approximately 30 minutes to complete. Players control the Dark Queen as she defends her domain against an aspiring Hero. Defeating the invader is initially effortless, but the opponent returns repeatedly with increased strength. The narrative adventure centers on combat encounters and choices that shape an unconventional relationship.
