METRO Redux Next-Gen Update released for Xbox Series X|S and PS5

A free Next-Gen Update is now available for METRO 2033 Redux and METRO Last Light Redux on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. The update allows players to run both titles in 4K at 60fps or upscaled 4K at 120fps if the monitor supports it. The download includes 4A TSR upscaling and antialiasing support.

Visual improvements include more detailed textures, enhanced animation fidelity, and a refined lighting and shadow system. Additionally, the patch introduces support for Xbox controller Impulse Triggers. Owners of Xbox Ally and Ally X will receive full optimization and Xbox Play Anywhere support. This update arrives ahead of the February 4, 2027, launch of METRO 2039.
