Kodansha and Mana say the art-focused adventure game CaTHaRSiS: The Last of Atelier will release on PC via Steam on December 1, 2026.
Kodansha and developer Mana announced that CaTHaRSiS: The Last of Atelier will release on PC via Steam on December 1, 2026. The game is designed as a short experience with a length comparable to a feature film. It features 10 planned areas that turn famous paintings into explorable 3D spaces. These include environments based on Monet’s Woman with a Parasol, Klimt’s The Kiss, and works by Van Gogh such as The Starry Night, Café Terrace at Night, and Sunflowers.
Players control an empty vessel accompanied by a wolf and an owl. The game includes a Photo Mode that pauses gameplay and allows for adjustments to brightness and characters. Kodansha and Mana say the title has no time limits or game-over states.
