Epic Games changes Fortnite Crew to replace skins and OG Pass with V-Bucks

Epic Games is changing the Fortnite Crew subscription starting December 5. The service costs $11.99 or £9.99 per month and is also available through Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

Subscribers will no longer receive monthly Crew Packs after the December release. Epic Games says it will grant Legacy Styles to subscribers who own Crew Pack Outfits but have not yet unlocked those styles. The OG Pass also ends on December 5. Epic Games says Chapter 1: OG Season X will have a dramatic conclusion and the next era of Fortnite OG will arrive in late 2027.

To replace the skins and OG Pass, Epic Games will give crew members more than the previous 800 V-Bucks. The exact amount depends on how long a player has subscribed. Existing membership length counts toward this tier starting December 5, meaning players subscribed for over 12 months immediately enter the 1,600 V-Bucks tier.

Crew members also get an extra 20% XP. The subscription continues to include the Battle Pass, Music Pass, Lego Pass, and Rocket Pass Premium.
