An 18-minute developer video shows new content for the Marvel Cosmic Invasion: The Siege of Castle Doom DLC. The expansion adds Doctor Doom and The Invisible Woman as playable characters and introduces skill trees for all existing heroes from the base game.
The DLC includes a roguelike mode where players storm Castle Doomstadt to destroy a Cosmic Inductor and stop Doctor Doom. Players must complete the objective before a siege gauge fills, which increases the power of the castle's forces. This mode features randomized encounters, branching corridors, and 12 unlockable power-ups. Players can collect Battery Cells and complete challenges to earn tactical, damage, or defense upgrades. After each run, players can permanently unlock new events and equipment from Reed's Lab, along with modifiers that change the difficulty and rewards of future attempts. The DLC is scheduled to launch on November 10, 2026.
