In October, Geekbench 7 results for an AMD EPYC 9996 using Zen 6c cores showed a 16.49% single-threaded performance increase over a 4.1 GHz Zen 5 Ryzen 7 9700X. These Zen 6c results also indicated an IPC increase of approximately 23.36% when comparing normalized frequencies against a Zen 5 EPYC 4545P.
