TL;DR

The dlss-nr mod creator says all main DLSS features now work on AMD RDNA 4 and RDNA 3 cards.

The creator of the dlss-nr mod announced that version 0.8.0 fully ports all main DLSS features to AMD RDNA 4 and RDNA 3 GPUs. This includes DLSS Super Resolution, DLSS Ray Reconstruction, DLSS Frame Generation, and DLSS Neural Rendering. RDNA 2 support is currently in testing and supports Neural Rendering, with most other features planned for a future release.

The mod also includes FSR Super Resolution, while FSR Frame Generation and Ray Regeneration are planned for an upcoming build. The creator reports that an RX 9070 XT achieves 90-100 FPS at 1080p when using the full HT model. Output quality is reportedly very similar to original hardware, though the creator notes some effects may not work 100%.

Users need Windows 11 and an AMD Radeon RX 9000, 7000, or 6000 series GPU with Adrenalin driver 26.1.1 or later. The mod works in DirectX 12 games that use FSR, DLSS, or XeSS. Support for Linux and Vulkan is planned for a future release.
