Colorful has released the iGame X870E Ultra-S V14, an E-ATX overclocking motherboard for the AMD AM5 platform. The board is priced at 1,899 CNY, which is approximately $283 or $284, and it is currently available on JD.com in China.
The motherboard features a 16+2+1 power phase design with 80 A VRMs covered by aluminum heat sinks. For storage, it includes five M.2 slots with individual heat sinks. Connectivity consists of Wi-Fi 7, 5 GbE networking, two USB4 40 Gbps ports, four USB Type-A 5 Gbps ports, three USB Type-A 10 Gbps ports, and two USB Type-A 2.0 ports. Audio options include SPDIF out and 3.5 mm line in/out ports.
Colorful says the board supports DDR5-8400+ MT/s. The company also demonstrated a 192 GB DDR5 memory kit running at 6600 MT/s at CL28 on the hardware. For overclocking, the board includes XMP/EXPO support, asynchronous BCLK CPU overclocking, a digital debug display, and rear I/O buttons for BIOS updates and clearing CMOS.
