Blizzard says World of Warcraft: Forever launches on 4 November 2026. The game requires a Heroic Pack or higher and includes a new race, new zones, nine new dungeons, and new raids. New dungeons include Hall of Thanes, Drowned City, and Blackmaw Hold. Two new raids, the 10-player Barrow Deeps and the 20-player Hyjal Summit, are scheduled to open on 9 December 2026. Onyxia’s Lair is also included and requires per-character attunement, according to a Blizzard official podcast.

Blizzard says the game will not have a Token to exchange real money for gold, nor does it have plans for paid character boosts. The developer is also ruling out GDKP for raids. The game is realmless, meaning players choose between Normal, PvP, or RP rulesets. Grouping is limited to players in the same faction and ruleset. Hardcore mode is not part of the launch. There are no flying mounts in Forever. Reports say it is not yet stated if the auction house is shared across different rulesets.
