TL;DR

Leaker Jaykihn says the Core Ultra 9 4995HX could feature 28 CPU cores and use TSMC's N2P process.

Leaker Jaykihn says the Core Ultra 9 4995HX will be a top-tier Nova Lake chip for high-performance laptops. The chip reportedly uses an 8+16+4+2 configuration, consisting of 8 Coyote Cove P-cores, 16 Arctic Wolf E-cores, 4 LPE cores, and 2 Xe3 GPU cores. This provides 28 CPU cores and 28 threads. Reports say the 4995HX compute tile, built on TSMC N2P, measures 14.8 x 6.6 mm. Power figures for the 4995HX are still unknown.

Jaykihn also says the Core Ultra 9 4970H will use a 4+8+4+12 layout. This includes 4 P-cores, 8 E-cores, 4 LPE cores, and 12 Xe3P GPU cores. Power for the 4970H is reported to range from 28 W to about 115 W. While desktop Nova Lake chips may use two tiles, reports say the HX mobile chips will use single-tile versions. Intel has not confirmed these details, and clocks or specific cache figures for the 4995HX remain unknown. Laptops featuring these chips might arrive around CES 2027, though reports say this timing is tentative.
