Micro Center drops Ryzen 9800X3D and RX 9070 XT PC to $2,049

Micro Center is selling a PowerSpec G764 gaming PC for $2,049, which includes an $850 discount. The configuration features an AMD Ryzen 9800X3D, an RX 9070 XT, 32 GB of RAM, and a 2 TB SSD.

The RX 9070 XT and the standard RX 9070 both use the Navi 48 die, which is 357mm² and built on the TSMC N4P process. Both cards use 16GB of GDDR6 VRAM with a 256-bit bus and 20Gbps speeds, resulting in a 640GB/s maximum memory bandwidth.

The XT variant has 4,096 stream processors and a 2,970MHz maximum boost clock. It has a 304W total rated board power. AMD says the RX 9070 XT requires at least a 750W power supply, while the standard RX 9070, which has 3,584 stream processors and a 2,520MHz boost clock, uses 220W and can run on a 650W power supply.
