ININ Games announced that Shenmue 3 Enhanced is now targeting an early 2027 release. The game was originally planned for a late 2026 launch. The publisher says the delay is to get everything right.
The updated version of the 2019 game includes 4K textures, support for DLSS and FSR upscaling, and increased NPC density. Reports say the edition will also add new camera options and various gameplay and UI tweaks. Players can toggle all graphical and gameplay enhancements off at any time to keep the original experience.
Shenmue 3 Enhanced is planned for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2.
