Fields of Aaru demo adds customization and visual improvements

Zymartu Games released a new gameplay trailer and an update for the Fields of Aaru Steam demo. The update adds character creation features including new hairstyles and sliders for height, build, and color. Players can now dig into the terrain to carve channels that direct Nile water toward farms. The update also includes improved lighting, water reflections, fuller foliage, and softer shadows. Visual additions include ripples in the water and footprints left in the sand by characters and animals.

Players can now benefit from automatic saving, better controller support, and fresh accessibility settings. It is available in English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, French, German, Spanish (Spain), and Brazilian Portuguese. While Steam Next Fest ends on October 26, the demo will stay on Steam. Zymartu Games has not announced a release date for the full PC game.
