Team Group ACE 8K MicroSDXC launches in early November

Team Group says the ACE 8K MicroSDXC memory card is scheduled to launch in early November. The card will initially be available on Amazon in North America and Japan.

The card features UHS Speed Class 3 (U3) and Video Speed Class 30 (V30) ratings. Team Group reports read speeds of up to 160 MB/s and write speeds of up to 110 MB/s. The V30 rating ensures a minimum sustained write speed of 30 MB/s to support 8K recording and 4K 120 FPS video.

Available capacities range from 128 GB to 1 TB. Team Group tested the card with the DJI Avata 360 drone and the DJI OSMO ACTION 6 action camera. The device is built to withstand water, dust, physical impact, static electricity, X-rays, and temperature extremes. Pricing has not been confirmed.
