Idea Factory, Compile Heart, and Sting have announced Dokapon Kingdom: Connect 2, a sequel to the RPG-style board game. The game is scheduled for a worldwide release in Summer 2027 on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam. This launch marks the first time the franchise has received a simultaneous global release.

The sequel includes more character customization options than previous entries. It features cooperative battles against Giga Monsters where up to four players can choose to share rewards or keep them for themselves. A new mode allows all players to begin the game at a high level with powerful equipment. Players can also participate in local or online multiplayer, or play the game solo.

The game will feature English and Japanese voice acting. Supported text languages include English, Japanese, Thai, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.

Idea Factory, Compile Heart, and Sting have not yet shared details regarding digital or physical editions. Attendees at the Thailand Game Show 2026 can see the announcement trailer and play the original Dokapon Kingdom: Connect from October 29 through November 1.
